INTERPRETING

My availability for this service is currently limited.
SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETING
In simultaneous interpreting, the source text is transmitted almost in real time. Since this requires the highest level of concentration, there are at least two interpreters that work together in one booth. This type of interpreting is particularly suitable for large events or multilingual audiences.
CHUCHOTAGE
Chuchotage is a special form of simultaneous interpreting in which the interpreter sits behind the listener and only interprets for him/ her. Due to the level of concentration required, two interpreters usually take turns. This type of interpreting is suitable for a very small circle of listeners and has the advantage that no technology is required.
LIAISON INTERPRETING
In liaison interpreting, the interpreter translates short sections of a conversation from one language into the other and vice versa. This technique is suitable for interviews or interrogations, for instance.
CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETING
In consecutive interpreting, the interpreter takes notes during a speech and then uses them to reproduce what has been said. This can be done at the end of a speech or section by section. The only resource needed for that is a notepad. However, you should allow a little bit more time for this type of interpreting as it's done time-delayed.
