Hi, I'm Annika, and I'm a translator and interpreter

I translate and interprete from Spanish, Serbian/ Croatian/ Bosnian and English into German and help you self-study foreign languages like a pro.

HOW CAN I HELP YOU?

Marketing Translations

Bridging your Brand & Audience

🇺🇸 🇪🇸 🇷🇸 — 🇩🇪

How you say something matters just as much as what you say – that’s why compelling marketing texts make all the difference.

Let’s transform your website, newsletter, e-mail campaigns, blog or product descriptions into texts that are

• true to your brand and all it stands for
• linguistically precise and smart
• and highly engaging

So your message resonates, impacts and connects with your German audience, all while you sit back and focus on what you can do best.

If you want to work, study, get married, or do anything else in Germany, you'll need a sworn translation of your documents. These must be done by a sworn translator—someone who not only translates but also certifies the document with their official stamp.

As a sworn translator for Spanish and German, I'll be happy to take on all the paperwork for you – so you have one thing less to worry about!

Interpreting

Interpreting – Let me be Your Voice & I’ll Let you be Heard

🇺🇸 🇪🇸 🇷🇸 — 🇩🇪

Need an interpreter for your next appointment or meeting? Whether in business, healthcare, community or legal settings, I help you express yourself clearly and confidently – so nothing gets lost in translation.

Online or in Würzburg, Nürnberg, Aschaffenburg, Frankfurt, and more cities in the area.

Do you want to travel beneath the surface, connect deeply with people, and feel safe and confident abroad? I hear you!

As a passionate language learner on my 7th language, I have not only tried and tested countless study methods – I’ve also spent years living, working and travelling across different world regions.

On these stays, my language skills were the #1 thing that helped me navigate unfamiliar situations, stay safe as a female solo traveler, connect with people beyond small talk, and experience the world beneath the surface. Let’s level up your communication skills, build confidence and competence, so you can travel the world with ease beneath the surface!

Möchtest du deine Sprachskills auf ein neues Level bringen – und zwar nicht nur, um den nächsten Test zu bestehen, sondern für wirklichen Deep Talk, mit Souveränität und um die Welt unter der Oberfläche kennenzulernen? Dann bist du bei mir richtig!

ABOUT

QUALIFICATIONS

  • State-certified, publicly appointed and sworn translator and interpreter (Würzburger Dolmetscherschule)
  • State-certified foreign language correspondent (Euro-Akademie Aschaffenburg)

LANGUAGES

  • German is my native language.
  • English was the first foreign language I learned at school. It was also the main language of my first job training as a foreign language correspondent.
  • French was my second foreign language after English. I learned it in school for 4 years and reached an intermediate level. But sadly, I hardly used it for the next 10 years – until 2024, when I got a French teacher from Senegal who helped me prepare for a trip to West Africa, where I finally learned to speak fluently.
  • Spanish has been the language I put my main focus on. Being the main subject of my translators' training, Spanish is the language I'm able to interpret and do sworn translations in.
  • Serbian was the first language I self-studied – and still study at an advanced level. I learned it for a longer stay in Belgrade. After only a few months, I could have fluid conversations, and after a year, I could already translate from Serbian into German. Of all my languages, Serbian has been the one I learned the fastest.
  • Turkish was a language I started in 2022 for a trip through Turkey. I reached an intermediate level and have fallen in love with Turkish series.

TRAVELS

At the age of 17, I had the chance to go abroad for the first time: During the holidays of my first job training, I did an internship in a hotel in France.

A year later, I spent a year in a fishing village in Ecuador, and a few years after that, another year in Montevideo, Uruguay. These two formative experiences not only exposed me to the diverse linguistic and cultural facets of South America but also raised questions about the world and myself — questions that still occupy my mind today. This was followed by a longer stay in Serbia, which I embarked on with almost no prior knowledge of the language. Learning Serbian as fast as possible to work as a translator soon turned into a personal project, during which I delved deeply into language learning methods.

At the end of 2024, I spent two months traveling through West Africa . During this time, I not only got to know and love Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, and Mauritania but also fulfilled a long-held dream — finally becoming fluent in French.
